The Specialist Housing Service provides assistance, advice and support to women and children who are at risk of homelessness. We can assist to identify housing options; advocacy, and support with applications for private, public and social housing along with case management.

Housing is an essential component to a families overall wellbeing and functioning.   Hence our specialist housing program works within our wrap around approach model and is complimented by our family services programs. 

Please note Caroline Chisholm Society does not have properties and is unable to provide a crisis response. If you are experiencing homelessness or worried that you might become homeless soon, you can call 1800 825 955 and speak with an Initial Assessment and Planning staff member about your situation. You will be connected to the nearest Homelessness Access Point Service.

Our eligibility  criteria:

  • Live in the Western Melbourne or Brimbank Melton area.
  • If you are able to stay in your current accommodation for a period but would like to explore alternative housing pathways.
  • You are pregnant and have children under the age of 5.
